Q. What is no win -no fee?
At BLD, Before we start work on your case, we take out insurance to protect you against the risk of paying the other side’s costs or your expenses if your case is unsuccessful. This policy is at no cost to you, provided that you have given us accurate, complete and honest instructions, and also fully cooperated to help us try to win your case.
If you don’t win your case, there is no fee to pay.

How much compensation will I receive?
The amount of compensation depends and vary upon your circumstances, and the nature and severity of your illness or injury occur due to medical negligence. Every case is different and unique on its own, so as compensation too. But be assured that whatever the value of your claim is, our medical negligence solicitors will ensure that you get will get the maximum compensation you deserve.

How long will my claim take?
How long will your claim take again will depend and vary as per the circumstances? Each case is different, and it depends upon the strength and defendant’s approach to defending your claim. They may choose to settle within weeks/ months or sometimes years, or they may dispute your claim in which case court proceedings may be necessary. In general, most cases take between 6 and 12 months to settle.

Can I switch from one solicitor to another?
Yes, offcource. If you or your family member at any point of time, are unhappy with your current medical negligence solicitor then you can switch to a different medical negligence solicitor.

How can I transfer my claim to you (BLD)?
