The sport of surfing has grown to attract international appeal. Surf competitions have broken via to principal stream media receiving coverage on ESPN, and it looks to grow significantly with the focus of primary sporting organizations signing huge dollar contracts with skilled surfers that are nonetheless in their early 20′s. It is wonderful to feel that this sport began as a cultural past time on a tiny island chain in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
