For those of us who think of skydiving above, the idea has probably crossed your mind at least once (especially if this is your first skydive) you prefer to parachute with someone. No, this does not mean that someone will jump in sooner or later, but you want to connect to someone. Preferably, someone knows what they are doing and have a lot of experience in skydiving. Tandem skydiving is why it was created!
Tandem skydiving is the technical term, a student skydiver to jump to an experienced instructor. Director manages all jumps, leaving the air handling and controlling the parachute, and landing. Students do not need extensive training and education in order to complete the tandem skydiving. Sometimes a student educated in the shadow of opening, but the manager remains in control throughout the flight and to ensure there are no security problems.
The equipment used for the tandem parachute jumps differs slightly from the individual devices. First, the parachutes are very different. Tandem jumpers use a drogue parachute. This is a parachute, when you are using, the speed slows down as one of two jumpers jump. Tandem skydivers also use larger parachutes of at least 400 square feet, which helps in weight to one or two bridges. Each of the parachutes, a piece of equipment is to assemble the "system" tandem in which every teacher must be certified before performing a tandem jump.
Make sure the instructor is prepared and able to handle any emergency. The FAA requires that tandem instructors have at least 500 jumps each and more than three years of skydiving experience before they can qualify to be an instructor in tandem. Tandem instructors will provide you with everything you need to know before making the jump. About half an hour, beyond the introduction of a parachute, gestures, and let you know the techniques of landing. Although it seems almost too easy, and you might even think that did not have sufficient preparation, which is really all you need to successfully complete a tandem jump. For the most part, the teachers are doing all the work for you.
Note that while you are jumping from an expert who has not yet rid of the health requirements of a single jump. You can expect to be bound by the same rules, and always get medical clearance to perform a tandem jump. Installation is not responsible in case of emergency or injury, although it is a direct consequence of the instructor. You must sign a waiver and release, which states that in the case of an emergency, you or your family are entitled to sue or take any legal action. Again, you can expect to sign one of these for any installation of tandem skydiving, or alone. Note that your instructor has had extensive training and the event of an emergency is almost impossible.
